VISA REQUIREMENTS
Namibian law requires that your passport must be valid for at
least 6 (six) months from the date of your arrival.
Citizens of the United States and European Union member
countries (excluding Greece) do not require visas to visit
Namibia.
Although our farm is not in a Malaria area,
it is a good idea to take precautions against malaria. Please
bring all your own private medication and make sure it is
sufficient for the time of your stay.
CLIMATE
Our sun is harsh so please bring your
sun block lotion with a good SPF factor.
Summer starts in October, temperatures during the day can exceed
40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). The rain season is
from January to March, sometimes extending into April. Winter is
from April to August, during this time Namibia has daylight
saving time, clocks are turned back 1 hour from the first Sunday
in April until the first Sunday in September. During winter temperatures
at night and early morning may fall below
freezing.
